Hi Caroline, in most of Australia fireworks are not illegal for sale. Only professional firework displays are permitted. In Victoria they were banned in 1982.

I feel I hardly notice the fireworks now but I am sure I would be really complaining if I still had a cat! I just can’t believe the amount of money some people have spare so close to Christmas. What a grumpy guts I sound! Now I love the red dress on you…..got to have a red dress for a Christmas cruise. I am looking at two red long dresses hanging up in a spare bedroom. Love them both but my favourite is too tight at the moment. My own fault, must have allowed the “shrink elf” access to my wardrobe. In fact he has had the time of his life in there. So….dieting it is with weekly try on session to spur me on. One thing for sure, if I do manage to wear it on our Christmas cruise, it will have to be the first week before the weight creeps on from the Christmas goodies! Wish me luck!xx Liz

I love an organised fireworks display - our council set them off on the beach this year, which was fantastic. I have to say I don’t believe they should be available for the public to buy though 🤷🏻‍♀️ far too dangerous. 🧨
Red dress - if you’re anything like me, if you’re not sure you probably won’t wear it, return it.
Burgundy plisse - no shape to it at all.
Grey sweater - too big but looks lovely, get the smaller size!
Lessons in Chemistry - we enjoyed it, it was a slow burn but we got into it. 😊

Bow top is super cute it would be worth comparing the smaller size to see if you like it more. Red dress will be nice styled with all your lovely jewellery and shoes.

Lessons in chemistry was a Bookclub book for me, it was a slightly slow start but an absolutely great read for me. Loved the red dress, very elegant! Xx

Hi Caroline, thanks for the code for the TOYL box, I’ve subscribed to that from your link, as I’ve said previous I’ve lost weight too and sadly my 60’s neck is definitely showing signs of the dreaded Turkey gobble, ok I know the neck cream can’t work miracles but hopefully it can slow the aging down a little. You’re looking fab Caroline, I really think you could get away with smaller sizes now, how great is that! 🥰🥰

Hi Caroline the red dress is lovely. I have just invested in an M&S waist cincher to sort out lumps and bumps. Tight to put on but comfortable to wear. Lessons in chemistry is a brilliant book. Definitely worth reading. Enjoy your cruise 😊

Couldn't you wear the gorgeous M&S red sequin skirt on the Red night on the cruise? To me, it's much nicer than the dress. The bow jumper is nice, but it's already too big - and you can definitely see you are losing weight, so maybe return? Hope your trip to NYC is great - make sure you take warm stuff - can be brutally cold in the skyscraper canyons!
