$130 a ton here. And my yard seems hella cheap based on the national averages most the time.
Hope you're still scrapping. Liked your treadmill rollers/stripping machine! Pretty impressive. Recently picked up a treadmill. I never throw out useful looking items. I was thinking the rollers would likely be perfect for making roller stands for handling lumber, but your idea is tempting as well! lol

A.) that's all the better the scale is, they're made for commercial trucks and large loads, majority are lucky to be within 100-lbs in that sense.
B.) you had more gas in your truck that day the weight of gasoline is 6.7-lbs per gallon, and 40-lbs is roughly 6 gallons of gas :))
