I love this channel exactly because its not like LTT, mainstream only, high end hardware. I found this channel when you guys were at only 50K subs and all I can say is the content has always exceeded my expectation. The in depth, high quality, complete analysis of mid to low level hardware is what I'm here for. Good luck and happy new year to you both !!!

The human eye couldn't even see GPU's this year.

The cores VS cache thing was something I never even considered

Great content can’t wait to see what 2022 brings

The i9-11900K was like an i7 renting a tuxedo and limousine to look like a big shot at their high school reunion, when they're actually working as a burger flipper at McDonald's.

You have your hardcore viewers like me, that have been convinced over the years that your videos have value no matter what the market is doing. Keep that in mind. You do have your base. Business has it's up's AND downs. Especially as you approach or leave a 10 year mark. I have absolutely bought products you recommended. Most recently M27Q. I would never have bought it without Tim's review/reco. Thank you for all your work, hopefully you TAKE A VACAY and enjoy it!

As much as Intel's 11th-gen made no sense at the high-end, the 11400(F) was pretty sweet at the low-end where Alder Lake is a non-option since those SKUs and the more sensible B660 motherboards they'd go onto aren't launching until 2022.

2 things I pick up from this video

1) Your work life balance was better this year
2) The channel is still doing well

That is brilliant news.

The problem with HU reviews is that any product that HU recommends is instantly sold out. I bought a motherboard based on a HU review the day the review went live. Next week, I went to buy another after testing it and finding it truly was the stellar product that they said it was. Sold out. When it came back in stock it was $60 more expensive “due to demand”. There is a reason manufacturers don’t want to let HU see their bad products as they become unsellable if HU says that they are bad. A favorable review is an instant sellout. Same for GN. These two sites have an outsized impact on the market for the diy crowd. A manufacturer that embargoes them and they mention it gets an instant black eye. The fact that they don’t abuse their power or discretion only increases their reputations.

I love the steve banter at the beginning. You know he loves the idea but wants to give Tim some friendly banter

I subscribed to the channel this year, I like the way you do things a lot, excited about tech but realizing the business that sell it to us are not worth fawning over, which is what you see on a lot of sites and channels.

Keep up the good work and happy new year. Let's all hope the prices go back to normal...

Regardless of what shenanigans you lads will be able to get up to next year. Congrats on this year's efforts.
Life as we knew it is no more. Going forward we will all just have to wait and see.

I enjoyed the Benchmakeing but I really hope that we can return to benchmarking new GPUs sooner rather than later.

Happy New Year.

See you next year. I think that there was some pretty good content this year. The retrospectives were nice, seeing how CPU performance advanced over the years, how older GPUs fare with newer titles, investigations into cache and cores. I like this kind of stuff. I agree that the Mac content was interesting, and the FSR investigation was top notch. The NVIDIA driver overhead content was great. That's the kind of stuff I enjoy seeing. Sure, reviews are the meat and potatoes of the channel, but lots of other places do them. It's the special investigations that make this channel unique.

I just want to say what I really appreciated about your channel in 2021 is that instead of complaining a lot about the market and throwing up your hands, y'all continued to make interesting videos, content, and comparisons that brought value to those of us still participating in this horrible market. Thank you for keeping up the good work!

In general I've been more into phones but this year was looking at getting a PC for the first time in a decade, so started watching your channel. It was such a breath of fresh air to find you guys, constantly putting out well researched, detailed, factual content that is also well explained and funny. I ended up with a gaming laptop but still watch all your videos because I enjoy feeling up to date on the facts about current hardware. Thanks for everything!
