The 2019 SEA Games have seemingly turned into an embarrassing fail for host country the Philippines. Philippinean authorities have already apologized after images were released showing the state of underpreparedness for the Southeast Asian games. Complaints range from incomplete construction to airport delays, insufficient food for athletes, not enough rooms, etc. The organizing committee has tried to play the problems down, labeling them as "inefficiencies or miscoordination." The games officially begin this weekend

I feel bad for the corruption issue. If we look back, Indonesia held Asian Games 2018 well with minimum budget. The whole facilities was awsome. The Philipine government and the committee should fix it before the whole games end.

Relying on twitter is not the best way to track the SEA Games. Only 3 or 4 out of over 70 arrivals encountered problems. All were eventually resolved. Several issues are now proven to be fake news and the rest were blown out of proportion by Filipino trolls.

there is not perfect in Sea Games, but in Philippines, many fatal mistakes, Unpreparedness of Venue is a big mistake! that never happened in Sea Games history. 😢

You have to double check your pic shown in your video wall. The Philippine Sports Commission has released photos, debunking that false, malicious news by a ABS CBN News Reporter. The reporter intentionally didn't show the other door, which indicated that the WCs will be divided into two.

Don't be a victim of false news from presstitutes here in the Philippines. I will be sending this report the Philippine Sports Commission to for them to clarify to you.
