DM3 Series: Inserts

One of the key new features with DM3 version 2 is the ability to use the USB port for inserts. Then the USB port can be split into 4 virtual devices, allowing the computer to run multiple applications with different audio channels. So you can add inserts to some channels, run a teleconference and live-stream all at once! See how to set it up right here...

Today using Waves Superrack I was able to insert my Dan Dugan automixer, F6 dynamic EQ, etc. would love this built in to the mixer but now I have my Dugan on my DM3. I’ll take that as a huge win, thanks Yamaha!

So u made a solution for the effects the console don’t have, a de-Esser for example…in a desks made for conference and streaming setups….. what a 01v96 or even a x32 could.. without a Computer….

On mac m2 Air the usb driver only visable if in the mode 1 on DM3.I've tried re installing the driver but same issue. Any ideas?

"use the scroll shortcut to quickly Patch adjacent channels" proceeds to speed up footage because it still takes ages. Here is an idea: if i use USB1 as my send it ist totally fine to assume i probably want USB1 as my return. like it works on PM/CL/QL an in fact most other Desks. or you could get over your allergy for a Ripple Patch function wich btw can be implemented in the Console itself rather than just the app. I get that i am sort of rating on a different topic here, but isn't it weired, that it is quicker to get my Wifi on a QL and Patch via the App than to use the Console itself? I am also still quite pissed that the most useful Inserts (in fact the ones that ar showing on your screen there) are not included in VST Elements, and there is no way to upgrade that i'm aware of, other than to buy an interface i have no use for.
