Ganzo makes some good budget friendly well made knives, Looks like a good camp or regular kitchen knife I often use my fixed blades as kitchen knives

I’ve actually been pretty interested in this knife. I’m surprised this is the first time I’ve heard someone say a Ganzo wasnt sharp outta the box. Actually seems to be a pretty nice knife. Reminds me a little bit of the bear grylls Gerber knife.

Not bad for a less than $25 fixed blade. Good sized for in the woods. Might be a little bulky for backpacking, but how many of us actually exercise that much.

That knife looks nice! I'm currently using a Schrade SCHF52 for backpacking, but this could be a great alternative. My only concern is the cord cutter in the sheath. If you're out in the middle of nowhere, it would really suck to accidentally cut a pack strap or get clothing caught in that exposed cutter. Looks like it works awesome, but not sure it's in the best location for a knife for wilderness use. OMG, the ferro rod stiker area of the blade! That's impressive. That's one design feature that is easily overlooked. Well done, Ganzo!

That sharpening plate thing is for slowly sharpening a hole in your pants as you walk. Gotta love those Chinese design decisions sometimes 🤣

23.00 dollars is a good buy, for what appears to be a decent camp knife. My only disappointment was that when you got that plug out, a roll of microfilm, or piece of paper with some cryptic message on didn't fall out.
