This Influencer Nearly Got Himself Killed On His Livestream

A horrifying video went viral this weekend, showing two young men in a near-fatal accident. The most shocking part was that the driver, streamer Jack Doherty, had zero regard for safety and filmed every incriminating moment of the reckless stunt.

Retired EMT here. This reaction (more concern for the cars than the humans involved in an accident) is sadly not uncommon among younger drivers who haven't yet reached the realization they are mortal. Once I responded to a solo vehicle accident on a very rainy night. The female driver came to consciousness as we were loading her into the back of the boo-boo bus, and starting screaming hysterically, "My baby! My baby!" Firefighters, cops, and EMS personnel were on our hands and knees, searching through the thick vegetation and mud next to the freeway, looking desperately for a missing baby. The woman eventually calmed down enough during transport to the medical center to tell the medic treating her that her car was the "baby" she was referring to. Needless to say, she was NOT the most popular patient we treated during that shift!

His insurance company and the police have got him over a barrel. They both have more than enough evidence to prosecute him. Dangerous driving, using a phone at the wheel, causing injuries to his passenger, AND subsequently asking him take video while bleeding, and that was after leaving him in the vehicle in the aftermath of the crash...!

This upset me so much. I'm getting on here when I am on my sick bed and shouldn't be texting but as a person who was left permanently disabled by someone who was driving carelessly this hit hard. It's part of why I'm in bed and been in bed for over a year. To see him live streaming and texting and then getting in an accident and being lucky enough to survive all he asks his best friend. Is you good bro? He should have had his friend sitting down until until EMS arrived and he was evaluated. He could have a head injury but film that.

Surely he had insurance on this car... But all he cared about was that car. And filming everything. I saw the whole video previously and I am just disgusted. With such reckless endangerment, I would hope that he would at least spend some time behind bars. I know it wouldn't be for long even if it did happen, but this guy deserves some consequences and I mean something more than being kicked off Kik.

This boy is an actual manace. He took a golf cart & drove it with his girlfriend. The cart flipped & her girlfriend got her bone broken. He was OK, but what did he do? Talked about himself & turned her girlfriend into a content.
This boy is known to harass people & then hide behind his bodyguard when the people retaliate.
