Opening Ceremony (USSOCOM Para Commandos) 2019 Beaufort Air Show
Показать описание
Several performers kick things off at the 2019 Beaufort Air Show. Shot on Sunday, April 28.
The Show opened with a variety of entertainment, the first being the Parris Island Marine Band, which played some marching music before serenading the country with the national anthem.
The USSOCOM Para Commandos are a group of special operative from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. They perform HALO (high altitude low open) jumps at air shows, with one jumper intentionally delaying opening the chute to scare the crowd. Their full jump is included in the video because it happened immediately after the opening ceremonies. The support aircraft is a Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey.
The other aircraft involved were three stunt pilots, in order of takeoff, Matt Chapman, Rob Holland, and Gary Ward. They each flew solo routines later in the show in addition to flying circles around the flag jumper.
Enjoy!
