F2P UIM Maxing Guide

Here's a general overview guide for maxing a free to play ultimate ironman account, including efficient and additional skilling options. This should be a good starting point for maxing your own uim account.

In short:

(2) AFK/chill for almost twice as much time played.

I was fuming about grinding 95 rc on my p2p iron but now I'm counting my blessings. 4.7k xp/hour is an inhuman grind

For smithing I mined barronite shards until 60 and used all my shards to run the maze for elaborate boxes and took all the noted coal. Filled my inventory with mithril all but 8 empty slots and ran back and forth from the bank and the furnace to the mining guild in falador. Probably the slowest way but it was fun

Last time I made a UIM I stayed in lumbridge cutting/burning logs, selling some willow logs to gen store, and taking the magic tutor's free runes every 30 minutes. Splash or kill goblins with those every time you get them until 55 magic for free, that's a slow but decent start for coins and basic supplies for the future. Can skip the stronghold of security if you have enough coins from selling your willow logs too (or if you don't want the 800 factor verification jagex account meat-gulp superplay mode needed for the final chest opening in the stronghold). Steel axe is at bob's shop right around the time you're ready for the 2 willow trees in lumby near the general store. You can stop at 60 firemaking until you later want to max wc/fm with a better axe.

Really enjoyed this breakdown even though I never plan on maxing a f2p iron. I personally liked going for the obor club and then byro staff as good earlier goals as these realisitically take a good chunk of xp.

A nice way of breaking up your skill goals is to do something like "i'll move on after 7 levels gained", as this will double your xp and keeps things feels achievable but progressively harder
