I have always had good results with peppermint shrimps and always add 1 to any new tank. They don’t seem to like larger aips, take a while to clear a tank and wonder if they go after the spores 1st so you see no impact for a while.

Get 5-8 Berghia nudibranchs for your tank, as they’ll be your best natural solution against controlling and totally eliminating your aptasia problem.

Your videos inspired me to get into the hobby was waiting for an update video and you could add an urchin so that the turf and gha don’t suck up all the nutrients and the water would have nitrates and phosphate for the corals… don’t know if it will work I’ve been in the hobby for only two years …. It’s gonna be easy on the pocket too urchins are pretty cheap and no need to dose nitrates …. Your tank looks really good.

Use a mayonnaise consistency slurry of Kalkwasser in a syringe and with all flow off, inject a little in each mouth of the aptasia . Wait about 20 minutes and turn the flow back on and they will be gone. Repeat as necessary.
