The one thing that we found weird to get used to, was the symbology, there are a bit too many different symbols and apparently when they appear in specific combinations they mean something different.

The mechanisms are very interesting but the part of paying a card discarding was a bit more complex than what you described, or so we felt.

I agree it's an interesting game, but I would appreciate it if the rule book was a bit better written.

I am perfectly fine with it being random and a bit chaotic, that's just how the game is and that's something that either works or not for each person, but I can see it can be a problem for other people and frustrating at times.

Thank you for the review! We may give it a new try after watching it :)

The rules seem to have holes, but something specifically mentioned I think you said wrong. The 'secret agent' card does not require a card to reject the sandman's offer. That card is used to cancel the soul consumer

I definitely don't have a taste for this game and can't believe you gave it a seal of approval! I think the rule 'book' was really poorly put together and the game is certainly not as strategic as you make out. For me this was a disappointing Kickstarter back. I wouldn't give the game more than 5/10
