Carl-bot Reaction Role Setup

This is the prefix version of commands, they're NOT outdated. Carl-bot *has* the message intents. Read the explanation below.

As of August 31st 2022, slash commands are a discord requirement due to the *message content intent* becoming privileged. Which means developers now need to apply for the intent, Carl has this intent and if it were to change then there would be an announcement made in Carl-bot Help, the official Carl-bot support server where you'll be kept up to date with changes to the bot and any important updates.

TLDR: In case carl refuses to post a message from the dashboard directly, being it the roles, triggers or whatever, don't spend time looking for support, this is the only way to do it, unless there will be an announcement saying directly that it has been fixed - Also it doesn't specify it in the video, but you can still type | :emoji: 'role name' | - The bot gave me some issues by tagging the role directly

For those who have many roles and can't scroll down to them...I had to delete a lot of them to get to the roles I actually needed. It worked once I was able to see the roles in the pop up after you @ in discord.

For some reason while trying to make a role. whenever I select the emoji for carl, it automatically corrects it to the emoji instead of it's ":emoji-name:" formatt. And carl won't respond unless it's in that format so idk what to do...

I did all of this and the roles won't pop up. Says it's made and goes to the channel but there's nothing to choose. I've moved the Bot up under my name I've done everything this video says and nothing. I'm growing frustrated

Once you have made the reaction roles - is there a way to add additional ones to it later? I don't want to reset the roles.

doesnt work at all for me been trying a million different emojis(yes ALL from discord), putting the name of the role after ( doesnt accept), tag the role (doesnt accept), needs configuration...

I try and put the emojis next to the roles and every time I finish it puts them down as their command and not their image
