I Created The FIRST EVER Air Jordan 6/7 Fusion!

It’s Vick Almighty with another Fusion as he creates the first-EVER Air Jordan 6/7 Fusion. The idea has been on Vick’s mind since his Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 Fusion.
Vick has no idea if this project is even going to work out. Like his last Fusion, he will use the 6 upper with the 7 midsole for one shoe and the 7 upper with the 6 midsole for the other. It’s time to get deconstructing.
While the two shoes’ design origins are similar, the OG colorways didn’t translate like others. So, the “Hare” 7 and the “Hare” 6 are the perfect way to do this.
After pouring acetone and steaming the shoe, it’s time to separate the upper of the Air Jordan 6. The 7, on the other hand, is a little more delicate, so a skinny flathead heated up should do the trick.
Now that both uppers are off, Vick gets to dremmeling the excess materials in the uppers. A lot of work is going to be needed with leather filler.
Once most of the bodywork is done, it’s time to have some fun and mix up the parts of the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7. For the new Jordan 6 upper, Vick will use the AJ7 triangle back tab with purple stitching to match the purple threading found in the Air Jordan 6 spoiler threading.
While the layers of leather filler continue to dry, Vick starts paining the upper to secure the shoes.
Vick then attaches the AJ6 spoiler to the Air Jordan 7 upper. Some finessing will be needed, so Vick has to focus.
While the 7 upper and 6 midsole work, the 6 upper and the 7 midsole need some work.
It’s time to get some glue on before the final parts of the project.
After making the Nike Air stencil for the AJ7 upper, it’s time to start bonding.
The Fusion is almost at its final steps as Vick works on the fine details.
After days of intense work and finessing, the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 “Hare” Fusion are complete. While the shoes are wearable, the Air Jordan 6 upper has a double liner, while the Air Jordan 7 is just a shell with no liner.
This is just the latest installment in Vick’s retro “What The” series. The 2/3, 4/5, 5/6, 7/8, 8/9, 9/10, 10/11fusions. Which one would you like to see?
