The oldest I watched was Lupin III, which was published in 1971, although as a Gen Z, I got my chance to watch it, via subscription-free streaming sites. It's about Lupin III(Japanese: ルパン三世[rupan sansei]), a great thief and mastermind who was Arséne Lupin's grandson. He goes everywhere stealing the riches from the world with his allies like Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, and Fujiko Mine, but it's not all easy, because there are obstacles on the way, like police officers, evil organizations, and his rival Inspector Zenigata, who won't rest until Lupin is finally captured. It was originally a manga series created by a man under the pseudonym "Monkey Punch" who dodged copyright back then with the Lupin name, especially since Japan didn't enforce trade copyright back then, it was inspired by Arséne Lupin(as mentioned), but also other things such as James Bond.
