Here we have a unique Mercedes Benz Atego 1023 4x4 Expedition overland camper, down-plated to 7.5 ton built in 2019, hardly been used with a high standard interior in birch ply with consideration on weight in the build. It really must be seen to appreciate the quality to the truck. The GRP box was professionally done by a commercial body fitters costing £11,500. It is a fixed rail sprung system on the chassis, same as the Biomobile 460 (€260,000) and as short wheelbase does not need 3 or 4 point fixes.

This is my DAF 4X4 T244 overlander and custom built into a full time overlander truck to travel the uk with my kids. I will be sharing the build and stories from travels on the road and off-road with a bit of extra thrown in here and there.
Single dad with 2 boys and a miniature jack Russel called roxy. We are all big into wildcamping around UK and the world eventually so expect lots of meet ups with other vanlife and overlander community.
