I dont follow dude at all, but watching this clip of him, he doesnt physically conduct himself like a monk - He doesnt give monk, or buddhist, energy.

Ive been buddhist for several years now, and have gotten to know the culture so to speak. They are a whole different breed - they dont think or act like basic americans. They usually go thru Lojong (Mind Training), take tons of vows, and do a lot of different trainings and practices. Dude prob skipped all that, especially the "dont seek fame" vow. But what do i know. Lol.

I can look more into what he says and how he says it and see if my original statement is the same. I highly doubt this dude teaches Dharma on any level, and even if he did, id love to know who gave him permission to teach and who he took those vows with.

Id love for this dude to be interviewed by an ACTUAL Lama. THAT would be a game changer. 😂

But moral of the story - dont trust anyone just because of a label they have given themselves - esp when money is involved.

I love that BJ Investigates crossed universes with Keyas World. I love these deep dives on self help grift and the like. The stories are always soooo blown out of proportion. haha

Whoever allowed him to practice and teach Dharma mustve skipped the "no fame seeking" vow. He doesnt seem very at peace and calm like monks and by his clothing he has LOTS of possessions which doesnt align with his own "beliefs".

He seems more like one of those kids that came from a rich family who paid for everything and is trying to teach classes how to get money like he did for $19.99 but all hes gonna do is talk about his poor upbringing and having to struggle to make ends meet, possibly homeless for a little, then finds motivation in the monk and magically sells a few things or talks to a guy and ended up making it big time like a movie.. all lies to relate, all while he never had to work a hard day in his life, i mean he met the monk at college his parents paid for, and if his first job was an entrepreneur and hes so narcissistic he can only talk about himself everytime someone talks to him and tells the same stories over and over again.

Ijs.. seems like the type, lots of repetition, nothing behind the eyes and his little condescending face 😂😂😂
