I try telling people, these Instagram relationships look so perfect online but in real life, it’s a toxic mess.

Loved her so much he took her car left her thousands of miles from home. That speaks volumes

I wish the two ladies would have made the cross country trip.

Well it's obvious that he's a lot worse than just being a manipulator

Classic narcissist. There’s too many of them walking around manipulating people unfortunately.

Narcissists are always charismatic- how else could they get people to fall for their lies or stick around after abuse?? My wish today is women who see this will break free of their abusive relationships. The corrupt and incompetent police will not save you, save yourself!

911 report says he took her phone (very controlling) and tried to lock her out the van (hateful as heck) and drive away at one point before the police stopped them on 12 August. This is the woman you love and want to marry. He then left her in Wyoming returning back to his parent's house in Florida on 1 September. He seems guilty either way. He left her behind.

Social media always portrays perfect lives. It's a lie, a scam. It's too bad what happened to this young lady. The guy is obviously guilty. Hope he is found.

He's a weasel. Just watch his mannerism around the police.

She was obviously too successful and pretty to be with a loser like him, he knew that she was gonna move on to bigger and better.

Friends described Laundrie as "Charismatic, but really murder-y."

I wish they would stop saying he's missing, he is hiding like the coward he is, he and his family are disgusting for this

Classic Narcissist: Angel in the street and Devil in the home. They oscilate between love bombing (in public), gaslighting, blaming, rage and then "apologetic" shame (but it was your fault and they are the victim!?), then love bomb again, on repeat. Get out after first rage. Your life literally depends on it.

It sounds like she finally stood up for herself against a controlling bf and continued to do so. Brian was pretty stubborn and set in his ways. Refused to drink out of a plastic bottle of water when the cops offered it to him. Also, how can you be a successful #VanLifer or YouTuber if only one of you believes in it? You BOTH need to have your heart set on it. Sad ending to what could have been a beautiful story.

Man not just saying this because she's no longer here but she seemed like a genuinely sweet good natured person. It's tragic what happened.

Charming narc, I know, I was married to one. Charming to everyone ("he's WONDERFUL!" he'd say I was crazy etc). But once they left, and the front door closed, _I JUST KNEW..._ 💔 I was in for it

So Brian comes home WOTHOUT Gabby and they refuse to return her parents calls and texts, then they house a fugitive when they KNOW the police are looking to question him, then they lawyer up, and then he goes into "hiding" and they don't tell the police until 4DAYS LATER? In the meantime, they move his car and send the cops on a wild goose chase through the forest - thus giving him time to evade police. Sounds like these people should be up on charges for aiding and abetting in a crime. These people are scum.

Just like a lot of this happy relationship on Instagram, it’s not always what it seems to be.

The amount of people I've seen post on social media "can't believe how lucky I am to have you, I love you so much, you're the best thing that ever happened to me" etc. That end up separating months later. Social media is fake, unrealistic and toxic.
