The NBC theme has the perfect feel of a nerve-wracking elimination game in the playoffs. Not many other sports tv themes make you feel like you’ll die if your team losses.

the NBC one is just iconic, definitely the most recognizable of the five, so thats why it's number one for me

1. NBC, because it's the time period I watched the most NHL.
2. TSN, because it's iconic and transcendent (though I do long for a time when CBC can use the theme again and reunite it with its rightful place as the HNiC theme song)
3. SN, because I tune in most often when games are bring broadcast on SN, and I'm really growing accustomed to it.
4. ESPN. It's a decent theme with a lot of history and nostalgia, but it just reminds me that I'm about to watch some horrible coverage and analysis.
5. TNT, because I have absolutely no connection to this theme at all.
