Investigators search for origin of Palisades Fire

A beloved hiking spot north of Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades along the Temescal Ridge trail is reportedly a point of interest for investigators looking into the origins of the costliest wildfire in the history of Los Angeles.

Beni Oren filmed himself and his friends just yards away from the fire when it first started on Jan 7 near Skull Rock. He has since deleted the account where he shared the video, but the video can still be seen on Heavy Duty Country's channel.

We all know it was arson. The fire started on the trail near Skull Rock. There is photographic evidence. The question is, was is just lone individuals or was there an organized effort.

I get that if it's a human they need to be under the jail, but the first goal ought to be solving the fire itself, should it not?

It was man made obviously. I saw a fire up in that area ( Skull Rock) on Jan 1st briefly and all of a sudden I didn't see again. Heard only one report on Kfi about it. And then before I knew, here comes Jan. 7th and therse this big massive fire spreading in my direction. I'm a homeless guy who used to stay in the Temscule Canyon Road area in the tree lines. Couldn't see me. Only way was if you stumbled right on top me. Anyway . I miss the Palisades and the people. God Bless. 🙏
