Didn’t you just toast her death? (Cruella 2021)

This is one of my favorite scenes out of the whole movie of Cruella. Mainly due to the music, it makes the movie very tense and scary at the same time.

I love this scene. It’s well staged, full of suspense cause you don’t get immediately what are Cruella’s intentions because of her being sneaky and vengeful, looks like she’s going to actually stab her with that needle. I also love the fact that in the scene the Baroness seems to be genuinely frightened of Cruella cause she can sense she is there but can’t see where.

The dark atmosphere, direction and soundtrack are phenomenal in this movie! Disney made a masterpiece again after a long time, like in the 90s.

This, and the dress in the closing scene are my favorite outfits of Cruella. Both had such short screen times.

I hate the fact that this movie exists, that they seriously tried to convince me that the most evil villain of Disney's silver age was actually just a misunderstood bohemian, but there's no denying that the movie has some excellent moments.

You notice how the dalmatians didn't even tell Barrones Cruella was near and even touched her. That's how much the dogs learned to love Cruella/Estella. In the beginning the dogs growled at her but became obedient to her at the end.

It's seems that, after such a long time, they finally made a worth while live action translation...but, I did noticed something. Their live action REMAKES pretty much all flop, yet two live action movies they made based on previous works were pretty good or at least decent. The two being Maleficent and Cruella. I heard quite a few praises for Maleficent, and I'm seeing several praises for Cruella, while all the remakes are just trash. It seems like whoever they get two write and direct the...what to call these...Proto-Antagonist Films? Are rather good at their job, I'd love to see one about The Evil Queen...that isn't the show Once Upon a Time.
