A BLAST FROM THE PAST | Cinematic AI Video | Midjourney V6.1 + Runway Gen 3
Показать описание
"A Blast from the Past" is a cinematic AI video, also known as a mini AI film.
The story centers around a Native American young man named Ilkyaz (meaning "the first summer") who seeks revenge against the bandits who killed his father and raided their home.
Ilkyaz returns home after several years due to a letter from his father, only to find out that his father has been killed by a group of bandits threatening innocents.
He then makes a plan to face the bandits, but he knows he can't defeat them all. The only way to avenge his father is to lure the bandits to the abandoned coal mines in the region, which he studied using maps from his father.
In making this video, I used the following tools:
1- I created low-fidelity images and a storyboard using ChatGPT and DALL-e's text-to-image tool.
2- I created high-fidelity, hyper-realistic AI photos using Midjourney V6.1 with style reference (sref), character reference (cref), image prompting, and my Atomic Prompting technique on the Midjourney Alpha website.
3- For upscaling my images, I used Magnific. I know it’s considered expensive, and you can also use Topaz Gigapixel AI. If you are going to use Magnific, ensure to max out the resemblance setting; otherwise, you can lose character consistency. I like both tools. When I need more texture and details, I use Magnific. For fewer details but batch upscaling, I use Topaz Gigapixel AI. You can use the new Midjourney upscalers, which are improved with Midjourney V6.1 and Midjourney V6.
4- For video production I used Runway Gen 3 Alpha’s image-to-video and text-to-video. It’s very important to use following format in Runway Gen 3 Image-to-video: [camera movement or cinematography]: actions of subjects or objects.
5- For music and sound design, I tried both Suno and Udio to create xxxx, but in the end, I used audio elements from Epidemic Music Library.
6- I used CapCut to bring all the elements together and finalize the AI video, ensuring it reached its polished and complete state.
