He is sure it will send him right to the top...if only he can convince his boss, the beautiful and mysterious "6," that it's an idea worth millions. Betrayed by his best friend "Sneaky Pete," Scat stumbles through an industry riddled with deception.

As he begins to realize that fame and fortune have cost him his morality, he must rediscover his true self behind the elaborate image he has created or risk losing the love of his life. In a world where the average person sees over eight hundred ads in a single day, SYRUP takes a biting look at the insidious—and often ridiculous—side of advertising. Crackling with romance and humor, this razor-sharp satire leaves you guessing and laughing until the end.

On Demand 05/02 and In Theatres 06/07 from Magnolia Pictures

maple syrup is what you put on your pancakes, you can make syrup (viscous, usually sweet, semi transparent liquid) out of almost anything

I am a young, just-out-of-college, barely-post-teen "adult". I don't think everyone out of college is like this, but the actors in this movie seem to exude this persona.

I wonder if this movie gets into how young, just-out-of-college, barely-post-teen "adults" think they have the world by their fingers and they realize they don't know a dang thing and they end of losing everything but they thought they just had "bad luck". Probably not...

actually coca cola is cheaper than water in most third world countries. It is causing health problems because people who can't afford water drink too much coke. also, they don't just "take" what they need. they pay for the land, and pay the workers (however the working conditions and pay are usually pretty bad). also, taking water from other countries? when north america has the largest supply of natural fresh water in the world? ok buddy
