Blender Tutorial: Video Editing using the V.S.E. (Part 1/2)

The VSE is really good and sometimes it is overlooked (I admit, I'm guilty of doing so). But it's actually quite useful!.

In this tutorial we will be looking at the Video Sequence Editor (V.S.E.) and how to use it. In Part one we look at the basics, from importing videos and creating cross fades, to making an adjustment Layer. Once you understand the basics, we can move on to something a little more advanced (coming in part two).

Hey, it is great to find new tutorials on Blender used as a Video Editor. How is your experience with it in terms of performance, speed and so on compared to other programs? For me it is the main one but sometimes i go to KDEnlive for quicker (time rendering above all) results.
Thanks again for adding more i fo for newcomers. I was a fan of Mikeycal Meyers but he stopped uploading them...
