A look at the Mercedes-Benz AMG Driving Academy ice track in Gimli Canada

In the small Icelandic town of Gimli, Manitoba, the most adrenaline-fueled winter sports and coolest ice party happened.

Every year, Mercedes-Benz AMG Driving Academy builds a one-of-a-kind ice track right on Lake Winnipeg where you can learn to perfect winter driving, then speed and drift on an icy terrain - which is exactly what we did - with some of Mercedes-Benz highest performing vehicles.

This year was extra special, with the first ever Mercedes-Benz Garage Gigs in an actual ice garage - made of 350 blocks of ice, with performances by local Vancouverites, Said The Whale and Toronto's own, Arkells.
