Sugarbeet research helps treat disease and increase yields

Research from Michigan State University on the best ways to treat and even prevent Cercospora leaf spot in sugarbeets will be released this winter following trials conducted in fields this year. Jaime Wilbur, a potato and sugarbeet pathologist with Michigan State University, says the research aims to provide producers with different tools to use in a management program, as well as ways to increase yields.
