This rig is going to be sweet though! You should call up Holden Bros for some power because that sucker is going to be heavy kitted out.
I would paint it olive drab and black, but keep all of the theming of the ambulance.
As a vet myself, Shambulance was a pretty good name. 😂 I mean you will be hiding out in the thing so it’s kind of perfect.

also the vacuum works as it should, it sucks into canisters that are disposable. I was a paramedic 2018-2022. i know the back of an ambulance like the back of my hand, if you have questions ask me! but i bet you have medic friends.

That’s going to be a sweet rig! Just fyi, the siren/horn button is to switch from siren sound to horn sound when you press steering wheel horn switch. Most ambulances/firetrucks are wired that way. Some also have intersection takedown wail wired into horn.

Going to the airport with emergency lights and sirens on could very well get you locked up. lol. In certain states it's illegal to keep the red emergency lights on them, they have to be removed or the red covers have to be replaced with clear/white covers. And it is illegal to turn the siren on when on county/state roads. lol.

FYI: Careful using the siren and lights on public streets. More than likely there are boat load of laws restricting emergency lighting and sounds to government vehicles.

Hey rob, few pieces of info for you.
1. The button on the left rear side of the box was to let the drive safety for insurance know that there is someone being a backer.
2. The center console is wired into the switch in the side of the seat.
3. The "siren/horn" switch makes it so when you hit the horn in the center of the steering wheel, it functions the same as hitting the siren button on the siren control box (make sure that's off if you have a remote lock as the horn chirp when you lock it will set off the siren).

rockin idea Rob. mate of mine in Australia just built an old ambo to travel Aussieland. one of the best things he put in it was a mini desalination unit, now unlimited fresh water on the road.

yes, put some "run flat" tires on it, if you actually plan on a bugout vehicle. Definitely make a great fishing/hunting camper. I love it, very awesomeness. Congratulations on the soon coming baby,
