Comparison Review: Nike Pegasus Plus vs. adidas Adizero SL 2: Rare! High Drop and Un plated.

In the video, I compare the August releasing Pegasus Plus to the Adizero SL2. Both are 10mm drop, about the same stack height 35/25 , and are un plated, flexible light (8.45 oz /240g US8.5) tempo to daily trainers. A rarity these days but still most useful to mix it up in a rotation and work the feet differently.

Long time shoe nerd. Been watching you, Kofuzi, BITR, Seth, etc... since 2018 ish. Just stopping by to say that I really enjoy your reviews. Great comparison! Excited to have the Turbo back.

Just got the Sl2 and first thoughts are that they feel very similar to the Boston 12. But only if you land fore to midfoot as heavy runner. Boston 12 is fine if you get tired and heel strike(more versatile). Very rough upper and slightly smaller in size making them a little tight but ok. Hopefully the upper will break in. I bought them in pure white to maybe wear as holiday shoe but not good for walking. Will leave them for short recovery runs or sell.

Great review, I have the Adidas SL2. Be aware that runs a half size short. Very flexible and makes the feet work 🙄. First time in years I need to avoid large rocks because they hurt my metatarsal in the SL2. Very light and very good energy return. ❤❤❤ One negative in the SL2 is that the upper is very hot and the sweat does not evaporate.

Love my SL but be warned the medial roll is prominent, if you don’t get up on your toes you may get some collapsing it’s super soft in the rear and super snappy in the front.

SL2 is the best value in running shoes this year!!! I got my SL2 for $100 + tax and just ordered this colorway of Pegasus Plus for $127. I was not going to get Peg Plus but I think it is worth for this price.

How does the sl2 compare to the pegasus plus in terms of the energy return? I've heard that zoomx is a costly midsole to produce.

A question re the Pegasus Plus: Are the insoles removable (like they are in my Peg 39s) or are they sewn in in the same style as the Vaporfly?

Hi. A excellent comparison. My vote goes to adidas adizero SL2. Like from Spain(Europe). A nice weekend for everyone.

Is the topo Spector 2 comparable(I know it’s a lower stack) but wondered if it would be used for the same purposes. Thanks

Thanks a lot for ur sufficiental information video❤
How do u think abt Pegasus Plus VS Invincible run series(3)?
I am thinking it's just shoe weight and stability issues.

Saucony triumph series is 10mm drop and unplated.

The Peg Turbo and SL2 have the exact same stack heights, considering that not sure why you think the peg plus was better for longer miles than the sl2?

When SL2 came out everyone was praising it.
When Peg Plus came out everyone: "meh, high drop, thin forefoot, foam not exciting like back in 2017."
