5 interceptions against backups and subs is bad.. He has the outside physical traits but struggled with reading defenses, accuracy and efficiency in SF. 😢

The niners got rid of him because of the problems we saw him throughout the preseason. He's a four-string quarterback. And he most likely will always be that.

I kind of feel for the kid...ndsu 1 season and 1 game for covid. 2 years hs...sits 1 year with the 49ers, plays a few games. Loses a qb battle the following year. Hes put in some work, but its just not good enough yet. Maybe Mike has a plan for Trey..but paying his salary for 3rd qb is gonna be problematic.

Arm talent and mobility are there...but the footwork, timing and seeing the field(landmarks and defenses is not)

No. First int was a terrible throw. Make the throw there and no amount of sprinting gets the defender there in time. Int is all on Lance.

He reminds me of Terrell Pryor. Athletic freak but can’t play the QB position effectively, consistently. Just put him at WR and see if it works out
