Tho the sound quality could be better on my device, I can hear the singing quality of Matt's voice here. Loud and direct. Suits him. More of that would bring a strong musical force to the fore, in the opinion of this mere fan. In general, his guitar work and mellow vocals are right on. He's a real musician as he so harmoniously and skillfully supports his sisters. Yet, i would like to hear more of what i just heard on better songs.

So was it all a setup when Ellen appeared on American Idol audition? Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr asked for an “impromptu” Beverley Hillbillies Theme rendition as she walked off stage. It was a bit condescending, I thought, but good fun. I suspected Urban knew exactly who Ellen was all along.
