I'm still beginning to learn how to play the piano, and the worst part is, I'm self learning. But I'm very thankful to you Ms. Lisa for creating these videos, it helps me somehow, cause' I don't know what I should learn when I play the piano. And your videos are a BIG help. Just a bit confused since I'm not that familiar and knowledgeable about terminologies when it comes to piano. So thank you again! Please make more videosss, God Bless you! ❤

Another great combined tip for getting so much accomplished in a quick practice! I needed to start practicing and learning 7th chords, so now I understand.
Thanks so much Lisa 💓

What a lovely recipe! You just reminded me of my dear old dad... He never had a lesson in his life but would sit at a piano and improvise by shaping his right hand into 7th chords and gently feeling his way around the piano while his left hand would randomly "um-ching " back and forth somehow on mostly the right notes! His party piece was the Warsaw Concerto, can't think who wrote it, probably from some old wartime film I expect. I'll look it up, I'm old myself now so memories are dim but thanks for making me remember that. 🤗
Edit: how I love YouTube! I just looked it up and found a recording with the sheet music. I'd forgotten all the running dual hand arpeggios, fast octave runs and trills all of which he would perform with such delight, how he remembered it all, I don't know. It's from the film Dangerous Moonlight and composed by Richard Addinsell (I think that's right, mashed potato for brains, very short memory) they wanted Rachmaninoff but he either wasn't available or his second concerto was too expensive so this composer wrote something just as grand. Such a glorious piece, really should give it a go but I fear those days are gone now. Amazing what a few running seventh chords have provoked in this faulty old memory, eh? Thanks Lisa 🤗

That's very practical - practising scales, while also familiarising oneself with, and practising chords. The broken chord scale sounds lovely, too!
