Raglan pattern (jersey) Part1-Πατρόν Ρεγκλάν (ζέρσει) 1ο Μέρος

This video presents how to construct the raglan sleeve pattern and the bodice for jersey fabrics, how to place the pattern pieces on the fabric (remnants) and how to cut them. The sewing process such as facing, finishes, and put the pieces together will be presented to the next video
Αυτό το βίντεο παρουσιάζει πως φτιάχνω το πατρόν για μανίκι ρεγκλάν και το κορσάζ για ελαστικά υφάσματα, πως τοποθετώ τα κομμάτια του πατρόν στο ύφασμα (ρετάλια) και πως τα κόβω. Copy the basic bodice pattern on a piece of paper Αντιγράφω το βασικό κορσάζ σε ένα κομμάτι χαρτί

Mark the bust line point and cut
Σημαδεύω το σημείο της περιφέρειας στήθους και κόβω

Mark 5cm from the middle point of neckline
Σημαδεύω από το μέσο σημείο του ντεκολτέ

Draw the raglan line and cut
Σχεδιάζω τη γραμμή ρεγκλάν και κόβω

Copy the sleeve pattern on a piece of paper Αντιγράφω το πατρόν μανικιού σε ένα κομμάτι χαρτί

Measure the curve part of the bodice armhole
Μετράω το καμπύλο μέρος της μασχάλης του κορσάζ

Mark this measurement at the sleeve pattern
Σημαδεύω αυτή τη μέτρηση στο πατρόν μανικιού

Draw a parallel line to the axis of the sleeve pattern at 5cm
Σχεδιάζω μια γραμμή παράλληλη στον άξονα του μανικιού στα 5cm

Place the trimmed part of the bodice at the corresponding point on the sleeve pattern
Τοποθετώ το κομμένο μέρος του κορσάζ στο αντίστοιχο σημείο στο πατρόν του μανικιού

The 2 points that defines the raglan sleeve line. The upper points meets the 5cm offset line

Place the sleeve pattern on the fabric

The sleeve axis is parallel to the selvage

Pin the sleeve pattern
Καρφιτσώνω το πατρόν

The fabric is not enough so I have to lengthen the sleeve
Το ύφασμα δεν είναι αρκετό οπότε πρέπει να μακρύνω το μανίκι

Using a remnant place the pattern in order to cut the additional pieces. The sleeve axis parallel to the selvage

Pin the upper and lower sleeve parts (Right sides together) and to the machine
Καρφιτσώνω το επάνω και κάτω μέρος του μανικιού (Καλή με καλή) και στη μηχανή

Place the bodice on a remnant. This is the back
Τοποθετώ το κορσάζ στο ρετάλι. Αυτή είναι η πλάτη

I like raglan sleeves for many reasons. One of them is that I can use the remnants with a triangle shape
Μου αρέσουν τα ρεγκλάν μανίκια για πολλούς λόγους. Ένας από αυτούς είναι ότι μπορώ να εκμεταλλευτώ τα τριγωνικά ρετάλια

Thankfully, the remnant can cover 27cm so I will use the strip from the JERSEY EMPIRE BLOUSE

Pin the pattern on the fabric

The front pieces of the bodice

Leave around 3cm in order to make the buttonholes
Αφήνω περίπου 3cm για να φτιάξω τις κουμπότρυπες

Pin and cut
Καρφιτσώνω και κόβω

Cut the center front opening
Κόβω το άνοιγμα για το κέντρο εμπρός

Fold at 3cm and pin
Διπλώνω στα 3cm και καρφιτσώνω
