Hey Mike use the rear subframe from an e39, it requires a little bit of fabrication, but I’m sure you can handle that. That way you will gain additional width with no modifications to the actual subframe, then you can add spacers and wide wheels and I’m sure it will came together nicer and stronger. Also you can use the bigger differentials from e39 witch are less expensive and more durable.
