The fact that Leon and Claire never meet up was one of the most disappointing things about the remake. It seemed like a massive oversight considering how good the game was overall.

My bad man but the bursting through walls was first created in resident evil 2 the original game, then continued in resident evil 3 with nemesis. Then in cutscenes on resident evil 4, 5 and 6. And then it was bringed back on resident evil 7 as a mechanic for the enemy. So no, resident evil 2 did it first. Take off the sin on that one

It kinda drives me crazy they didn't take the time to make that mechanic where what you do with one character effects the other work. It is extremely innovative and cool. I keep explaining it to younger gamers who didn't play the original and it is fascinating in a gaming community where we often replay games multiple times.
