The look is very calming. Nice job! As a drapery maker, I would have done a Roman shade on the windows by the bed. You lose the full length panels behind those side tables. And truly to get light totally blacked out, using only one panel doesn’t filter it all out. Consider using 2 panels per window. That also allows you not to have to pull the curtains so far each time you want to black light out. That’s just a few thoughts from my drapery maker eye. I do like the minimal look though. 👍

Hi, it’s Deb from Dallas! You did it again. I watch your videos all the time. I’m happy when I see you have a new one out. We’re doing a major gut job of our MBR and Bath in April. We’ve been in this house for five years. We bought it from a flipper, so even though some surfaces had been upgraded, we still have put a lot into the house. I’m 66 and all the chaos just to paint the kitchen and hallway was so overwhelming. Getting older sucks! Lol. This weekend, they are painting all of our kitchen cabinets white. We’re using Sherwin Williams Color of the Year, Evergreen Fog, for the island. We used a lighter hue from that collection on the walls. I’ve never had a white kitchen, but I’ve always wanted one. We bought some new furniture for the breakfast nook, which has a charcoal gray wall. The living room, part of the great room is a dusty turquoise. It’s all coming together with weeks of planning.

The room looks great... please extend the curtain rods and place the wall support after the 1st loop; that'll cut the light from the sides I have those curtains (love them).
