When I graduated from CalState, the diploma folder that that they gave out at graduation did not contain an actual diploma. It contained a "certificate of participation" in the graduation ceremony. You had to go to the administration office and pick up your actual diploma, so whatever that girl ripped up may not have been her real diploma.
