Reality: the same people commenting would expect first responders to attend an emergency situation as fast as possible - they should be told then if they want the doctor to arrive in a fast Audi, or a slower 2010 Mini diesel.

So they can afford to give Audis and VRS to the higher ups yet most fleet cars you see look like they belong in a scrap yard....most ambulances at my local fleet are falling to bits yet they dont have the budget to buy more yet you see others taking delivery of 20k+ cars for a 1 person crew, can see they've got priorities straight no wonder NHS is a mess and people cant get a ambulance! could have bought probably 2 new fleet cars for front line for same price as this one car.

This guy gets to drive Skoda fleet cars, VRS, brand new Volvos and now a brand new Audi....meanwhile everyone else has to drive around in falling to bits ambulances.

Nice car, but can't help feeling it's excessive and unnecessary cost to the taxpayer. Plenty of cheaper cars that would be just as effective.
