What area would you recommend that isn’t too far from dining and entertainment, but for a family who wants a little land + custom home . We are interested in moving from the Bay Area . But we are in the food business . So we want to be close to the city, but not too close to where we can’t have a little land .

No Belle Meade is in no way 1700 bucks a month for rent. I guarantee you will not find anything for rent for less than 3k a month.
