A worry for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Gujarat Assembly elections, according to a report in Indian express the Gujarat Maldhari Mahapanchayat has urged the community members to vote against the party in the upcoming assembly elections. Accusing the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of meting out injustice to their community.

It will be a gratifying moment for the country and its polity if the BJP loses both HP and Gujarat. But I doubt if it will happen ?? HP is a yo-yo state and so an upset is very much on the cards, but Gujarat is a Hindutva laboratory which is extremely polarised on communal lines and even the humungous Morbi tragedy, a testament of overwhelming governance failure, didn't cause much ripples.
