TOP MEN’S NEW ARRIVAL – JUSTIN’S PICK
Everose Rolex Cellini Moon Phase ref. 50535

Freshly discontinued! As of Watches and Wonders 2023, the Rolex Cellini is no longer in production. This watch has now entered discontinued Rolex status, upping its collectability and putting it on practically everyone’s radar.

If you’ve always had your eye on the Rolex Cellini 50535, now is the time to buy before its value rises.

Features include that classic round Cellini case, a unique double bezel, a leather strap, and Rolex’s impeccable 18k rose gold – aka “Everose.”

The dial is the real showstopper here, featuring faceted hour markers intersected by a 60-minute track, long, sweeping hands, and a dazzling moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock.

The automatic caliber 3195 movement powers this Rolex, boasting self-winding technology and a standard 48-hour power reserve.

TOP WOMEN’S NEW ARRIVAL – EMILY’S PICK
Black Onyx Dial Rolex Presidential Day-Date ref. 18238

The Rolex Day-Date 36 ref. 18238 is the quintessential gold Rolex watch, featuring a 36mm waterproof Oyster case surrounded by a stunning fluted bezel and Rolex’s famous “President” bracelet with semi-circular three-piece links and a hidden Crownclasp.

When Rolex debuted ref. 18238, it featured scratch-resistant sapphire instead of acrylic and the upgraded Caliber 3155 Perpetual movement with a Double Quickset function for both the day and date.
Emily’s pick of the week pairs the 18k yellow gold finish with a fantastic black genuine Onyx dial. The stone dial is void of hour markers, featuring only three centrally-mounted hands and the Day-Date’s signature dual apertures, which really ups the drama for this Rolex.

It’s a stunning pick that will undoubtedly turn heads.

TOP VINTAGE NEW ARRIVAL – BRANDON’S PICK
Rolex Root Beer GMT Master ref. 1675

Rolex produced the GMT Master 1675 for several years, spanning 1959 to around the early 1980s. During that time, Rolex released many iterations of the beloved 4-digit pilot’s watch, including the steel and gold “Root Beer” Rolex GMT in this Watch in the Box episode.

Instead of standard hour markers, the brown dial is decorated with faceted “nipple” hour markers in yellow gold. Additionally, the dial features a striking brown and cream aluminum insert, hence the charming nickname “Root Beer Rolex.”

Overall, it has a very attractive vintage vibe reminiscent of the 1970s when this particular example was produced.

The “Swiss” service replacement dial features Luminova, which still glows in the dark. The bezel is also a service replacement and is still in clean condition.

Overall this watch has the appeal of both a classic vintage GMT and a modern sports watch with improved Luminova that continues to glow today.

Good choices this week. I was a bit confused when every new arrival shown was a Rolex, so I went back and saw that only the wrist-checks were to be non-Rolex, although a Tudor is kinda-sorta Rolex. As to Watches and Wonders, what are the "Wonders?"

As a Rolex President owner, I was extremely disappointed in the trash from Rolex. Even Timex would have been ashamed of the emoji wheels!
