Does DPC payment count toward deductible? Or do you pay DPC doc and then still have to pay out of pocket to a specialist or to DPC if your needs exceed the terms of the DPC agreement?

DPC is a great idea and wonderful for patient care; however, it is a double cost because a person still needs an insurance plan for hospital care.

My Dr just changed to this type of practice. It will cost me $6, 800 a year to see him. I have insurance. They won’t take it. It makes it seem like he sold out his patients for
