Thomas The Tank Engine: Doomsday au

A horrifying alternate timeline where Sr Topham Hatt joins the rest of England in the steam ban of the 1960s. Resulting in many fatalities of his iconic engines. When asked what would happen to the engines, he said they were real steam engines like the others and would still be working on the island. Even though by then. half of the original steam engines of NWR had already met gruesome ends. Poor Henry hasn't even been let out the tunnel in this timeline. And that's because Topham never liked him for his defects. So he was the first whose fate was sealed. Gordon, Percy, and James were scrapped. Oliver was left at the siding to be found by BRW and die. Douglas was scrapped long ago and Donald followed soon after via s*icide [driving himself into oil tankers]. Edward tried reasoning with Topham to stop the slaughter only to be silenced [literally] and have his corpse shoved in a tunnel next to Henrys. Thomas, one of the last survivors, had long since collapsed into insanity and already killed a couple workers. Joining together with the tormented souls of his friends, what will Sr Topham Hatt do when his actions come back to quite literally haunt him?
