How To Calibrate the Extruder on an Anet A8 with Klipper Firmware

Hello 3D Printing Friends! Today we'll see how to calibrate the extruder on our Anet A8 3D printer, running the Klipper firmware. We're using the OctoKlipper plugin for OctoPrint to make it easy to edit Klipper's configuration!

Klipper has changed the config files. You now need to adjust the rotation_distance.

If you're coming from the future, Klipper now uses rotation_distance and my bowden conversion Anet A8 ended up at around 22.95. Hope this will give you base to start from. Cheers!

Thank you for this vidéo ! Could you please telle us how to calibrate x, y, z and extruder with rotation_distance ? I'm New to klipper and I don't know how to check and want to change when it's a fresh install. I only have values from my calibration cube from marlin :/

Once again, a great video! Well performed and scripted.
Did you happen to run into a situation with your extruder feeding backwards? Resetting the firmware cured it each time though.
In your opinion, would it be advisable to perform this whenever we change filament (requiring different heat and speed settings)?

I tried this on my Ender 3 and for some reason it retracts the filament when I run the G1 E100 F100 but if I go under control and tell it to extrude 100mm of filament it extrudes. Looking at the terminal it says it received the command G1 E100 F300.
