Nice new intro man, it's simplistic bit kind of miss the old one, that robotics sound

All of the original Droids (Motorola) dominate the screen.

No matter if its only 720p it still looks better than any other phone.

How they make the screen look is amazing to see in person with so little.

They are the King of video playback

Droid Maxx has 32GB of internal storage, 3500mAH battery, built-in Qi Wireless Charging, and the normal Kevlar back design (I think). It's only 8.5mm thick too

I agree with this. Without a case, my S3 is so thin that is actually uncomfortable to type on. Eventually enough is enough and manufacturers need to stop sacrificing things such as battery and durability for a 1 mm thinner phone.

does the maxx have the regular kevlar?
the one found on the razr hd.

i dont like how the back looks on the droid ultra.
the regular kevlar is great

Well, Motorola has showed that it doesn't need to be 11mm to have a kickass battery.

They are pretty much the same.but I'm leaning towards the MAXX for battery life on one hand, and it has kevlar backing over the ultra which is good since I drop my phone alot

I like the bulkiness of a phone. makes it feel durable and expensive. The first iPhone is a perfect example

Even though the black one is a little thicker it looks nicer and having a larger battery is even better.

Except that's not what happens. And we know this because we've already been here with the RAZR and RAZR MAXX, and then again with the RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD. Basically the same phone with different batteries. And they did just fine. Consumers are smarter than you give them credit for.

Main stream consumers won't be able to spot the difference which will leave them more confused and probably not buy either. I just don't understand where they were coming from from a business perspective

hold up did he say 720p screens? already behind Moto, way to go!

Yes they do. Verizon no longer releases smart phones that don't have LTE and ALL LTE phones use a SIM.

Can the bootloader on either of the phones be unlocked and used on T-Mobile?

They probably won't make an effort in battery life for many reasons.

Did he say retail price for 299 or its 299 with a 2 year contract??

these droid names are getting really confusing.

Seriously considering this MAXX. All those processing power are useless if you don't have the real power - battery. About time I maxximize my unlimited data!

Dear Moto,

Why did you go back to capacitive buttons when you were transitioning to onscreen? Please make all versions globally available :(
