Ever since I started I always saw MT4 everywhere and since then I’ve never even tried mt5 which I think is the case for most people 🤷‍♂

MT5 requires more computer resources than MT4. MT5 has this additional functionality on the trading panel where you can click to remove TP or SL

Yeah, the reason i started using mt5 was because you can adjust your tp, entry and sl on the chart. You can also place your trade with stop loss and tp

If you can go through the different kinds of spreads, that'd be great because i look at regular fx pairs and they have a certain kind of spread charge, when i look at oil/gold/us30, spread appears higher but entering a trade costs less or nothing

I’m using mt5 and acttrader with fxview for forex and commodities.

MT5 worked fine on my i7 with win10 till recently. Now it keep freezing my laptop. I tried launching with Admin, reinstalled with Admin nothing is working now. I am keen to go back to MT4.
