How we study fluid mechanics [Fluid Mechanics #1]

Welcome to a series of lectures on Fluid Mechanics, or the study of how liquids and gases move and generate/respond to force.

In this introduction, we consider *how* we best study fluid mechanics, and how that differs from solid mechanics. Particularly, with a fluid we zoom in on a "fluid element" and have a choice of Lagrangian or Eulerian perspective, meaning we either follow the fluid particles or stay put and watch fluid go by. This gets us ready to dive into the conservation equations that are so important to fluids in the following videos.

NOTE: These videos are intended to be a fast-paced narrated lecture covering the material of a typical college course. To best retain the material, first watch through and take mental notes of what you understand and don't. Then, watch again at a much slower speed, and take notes as you go to follow along.

our prof is just reading his notes like a reading newspaper in class and doing nothing else. That's why I hated fluid mechanics until now. Thank u professor<3

I'm a high school student and I want to be an Aerospace Enginner, I know fluid mechanics and aerodynamics are important, I have the basic knowledge in math and physics and understand a higher level a bit, how can I learn and understand Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics well? Thanks for the video Prof!

How we can use eulerian method in car moving on road. Because if we fix the window in fluid that is air then after some time car will pass through the window, then how we can analyze the car.
For this example if we are looking a car in fluid(air) then why don't we consider it as a langrangian method because we are looking for a one particle(car) in fluid.
Please answer my query!!
