Listening beyond the words that were said, I'd say that that great love that they had for each other is still there. And will still be there for the rest of their lives no matter their choices.

I stopped watching skating after they had retired. They are so unique, no one can replace them, not only in the terms of skating. So intelligent, modest....

Thank goodness they are finally in a part of their lives where they can finally express their love for each other that they have always had for each other.

Virtue and Moir were really just the most amazing, incredible ice dancers. I still go back and watch some of their past performances. Elegant, passionate, effortless....

I apologize to Tessa and Scott, but after watching this conversation with Mr. Rod is indisputable the feeling they feel for each other, even though they both have relationships with other people, they love each other. You can even fight that feeling but that's the reality. I believe that there may be a lot of resentment in your relationship but the truth is that you love each other (I think for the rest of your lives, because what you created was planted very early on having taken root) and that is difficult to "take root". You both need each other to be yourself. It's so hard to hide what your heart feels and sometimes it's a losing battle to fight your heart. Be happy that's the goal of life.

Thanks for featuring Tessa and Scott. I'm happy for their success in their chosen career after they retired. The champion among the champions and the legend of the skating world.

Thank you so much for sharing this interview and making it available for everyone.
Tessa and Scott are two of my favorite skaters ever, and I always love to hear them speak about each other, their career and their future goals.
I perfectly understand that, after retirement, they needed to figure out who they were on their own, and what they wanted to do with their lives after competitive skating, but omg how I miss seeing them skate together.
I can't wait to see them skate together again, I'm sure that the magic they've always created on the ice is still there.
In the meantime, I wish them all the happiness, health and success in the world 💙

Wow! What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon listening to Rod, Scott and Tessa. It was a wonderful way to look into their souls and how they felt about their time on and off the ice together. Let's do this again sometimes real soon. Thank you to everyone that made this time together possible.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Rod this is the best TS interview there has ever been. To have someone that knows them so well, is so knowledgeable of their career, refers to them freely as The GOATs because that’s legitimately what they are. I can’t thank you enough. This was so fun, so insightful, and to see them ‘together’ again so happy, reminiscing on their unparalleled career and beautiful unique friendship just made my.. I’m calling it.. YEAR. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE do more of these interviews with them. Once a month would be great 😁. More things with them in general. Work with them on getting that podcast started. Just thank you for caring about these athletes that so many of us love and care about so much ❤

This was special. Thank you from Italy! 🇮🇹
Time flies but I still see two souls deeply in Love with each other. Love with the capital L: the one from the heart, the one that can be felt, the one that's always there. Even when life takes over in many different ways and we don't get the real chance to give voice to our heart. Even if we'd want to. The awkwardness about the 'unasked question' gave them away and it was bittersweet for me.
Those who read Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist know how Tessa and Scott's hearts were talking to each other in that very moment.
"So, yeah, we're doing all these amazing new things in our lives. And it is great. It truly is. But what's the purpose if we can't tell each other everything about it when we get back home?".
And in the words of the great Coelho: "Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure".
Maktub, dear Tessa and Scott. It is written.
