If i recall your in a cold climate, basicly free heating tip for your outhouse in the winter. cut a 2 inch (50mm) hole on your house and your potty to connect a piece of pipe. on your inside of your house put a small fan to constantly blow your heat in the winter ( you need air circulation anyways) just direct it to your potty. when you dont want to share the heat just install a shutoff if you use pipe, and or a luver or shutter if you install sheet metal. (just need a holesaw/drill - pipe and shutoff - spray foam - small fan

cleaner more work way - you install a 12v fan inside the pipe and run off a switch for easy on/off and use floor duct covers on either side. looks more profesional

Hey Chris they have paving blocks at home depot you can use to make a walkway so you don't have to tred in the mud. An Awning over the walkway would help also.

Glad you went with the outhouse in winter just get a tiny $10 space heater from Walmart to put in there it's small enough to keep it plenty warm even in -30 weather we used to do it on the oil rigs and it worked great just run an extension cord through the window into the outhouse and you're set my friend
