Today, I tried recreating Levain Bakery’s Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie. No need to fly to NY City to experience this amazing cookie.
Head on to your kitchen and whip up these intensely dark, chunky and gooey chocolate chip cookies.

RECIPE:
200 g | 1 5/8 cups all purpose flour
100 g | 1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cornstarch
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
50 g | 1/2 cup cocoa powder

200 g | 7/8 cup cold butter
130 g | 2/3 cup brown sugar
70 g | 1/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
250 g | 1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

These look so amazing i made them today followed the directions to a "T" but my dough was not as doughy. Can I ask are you compacting the brown sugar or loose brown sugar?

These are so good, ythank you so much! One question: my cookies came out a little rounder and taller than yours. Yours are a little shorter and have a bit more ridges and texture. Any idea why?

Hi! I made these today. They were so yummy! Sarap! I just have one question po. Do you bake the cookie dough that's freshly removed from the chiller? Or you take it out muna for a few minutes from the chiller then bake? Thanks!

Hi, thank you for the recipe! I hv a question, is the texture crispy on the outside and chewy-gooey inside? Because mine are not crispy at all even on the edge. But still tastes really good tho!🥰
