The Keystone pipeline is designed to bring crude oil from Canada to refineries in Texas, and supporters say it will create thousands of jobs and help energy independence. CBS News has obtained warning letters from the federal agency that regulates pipelines to Keystone's owner, saying it failed to use qualified welders and noting dents have been found in pipes. Anna Werner reports.

People don't WANT. Going SOLAR. Get rid of pipe lines.

Wait. They made a video because of dents (not holes) and patches on a coating??? That is common across almost every site. How are you supposed to transport a lot of anything far away and have absolutely none of it dinged up in the slightest???

Maybe right now a good compromise would be to finish this pipeline and not use it. That way if there is another national emergency (colonial pipeline) we will be ready for it. This pipeline if needed could also transport natural gas or water.

Why do I care about Dan's on a pipe line while it's under construction and before it goes into operation? That sort of expected from time to time since after all you are moving the pipes around

Today’s pipeline operations or more Vance now they have a smart pig that indicate any defect on the pipeline they can repair the problem before the problem ever happens The most dangerous of a pipeline is a contact way now digging around the pipe but they are qualified Operators they call Mr. utility 811 before they dig

9~3~16 We just had a major earthquake epicenter directly under the proposed keystone pipeline. It happened in Pawnee Oklahoma. Thank God we won the debate a year ago to stop the building of the keystone pipeline. If the pipeline was in operation it would have been a disaster of catastrophic proportions. The eruption would have flooded the Ironically named 'keystone' river and half of Tulsa Oklahoma with the dirtiest oil that mankind has ever made.
Those who oppose the pipeline, please keep protesting its construction.
