HOW TO CHOOSE A TELEPORT LOCATION IN UNITY 🎮 | Teleport Player in Unity | Unity Tutorial

Hi everyone! 🙂 Today I will show how to teleport the player to multiple locations in Unity. I will also show why it sometimes won't work for your player character and how to fix it.

How would you do teleport but slow like the player is flying to that position?

Did you see the second part to my comment on your last video? I wrote a little explanation to the CharacterController behaviour and why teleporting can be a problem. Pasted a bit of code in as well that helps with teleportation of CharacterController objects that might (will) make your life a lot easier. Just wanted to let you know that there's a second part to that comment in case you overlooked it. 😉

Your video is very good. How would we use a UI button to do this? I have this button on a different scene which is a Home scene. My player is in the Game scene. I tried calling this method in my home page manager script but it just won't teleport to the place I set it to. It just put my player in the default starting position. Your code works with my player when I press 4 which is the key I set it to. Now I want it to do the same thing but with a button. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
